Female heads of state

Now, since Angela Merkel became chancellor of Germany, there are currently 10 countries in the world whose governments are led by women. Here is a list:

1. Bangladesh (Begum Khaleda Zia)
2. Finland (Tarja Halonen)
3. Germany (Angela Merkel)
4. Ireland (Mary McAleese)
5. Lettland (Vaira Vike-Freiberga)
6. Liberia (Ellen Johnson Sirleaf)
7. Mozambic (Luisa Dias Diogo)
8. New Zeeland (Helen Clark)
9. Phillipines (Gloria Arroyo)
10. Sao Tome and Principe (Maria do Carmo Silveira)

I do not know if these female presidents, chancellors, prime ministers do so much for the women in the world, but anyway there should be more of them.

What about Chandrika Kumaratunga from Sri Lanka ? I would've thought that she was the most obvious one.
